Great Savers, Bad Gamers completely owns that a bank is about as uncool as its gets to most gamers. We knew going in that gamers aren't very receptive to new brands vying for their attention with old clichés.
But we were confident in our product. So, armed with a bit of self-deprecating humour, we showed them that we 'get it' and introduced them to the smooth digital banking experience of Ubank.
Cheatz Arcade
We activated the campaign at PAX, the largest gaming convention in Australia. Ubank's Cheatz Arcade was dedicated to the best cheat codes in gaming history, and an admission to being such bad gamers we couldn't survive without them.
Gamers could come and play in the arcade for free and sign up for the chance to win a custom PC valued at $10K.
